Resolution 21- 2
A Resolution of the City Council of the City of Elk River Acknowledging
Contributions
WHEREAS, the City of Elk River is grateful to all civic groups, organizations, and
individuals for their contributions to the community; and
WHEREAS, the City of Elk River received 1,000 protective respiratory face masks from
WSI Sports for their Unite America Campaign with the intent they be distributed by the Elk
River Police and Fire Departments for distribution to local youth.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council, by at least four -fifths
vote, to acknowledge the support and commend WSI Sports for their donation.
The motion for adoption of the foregoing resolution was introduced by Councilmember
Wagner and duly seconded by Councilmember Beyer , and upon vote
being taken thereon, the following voted in favor thereofMayor Dietz, Councilmembers
Christianson, Westgaard, Beyer, and Wagner and the following against: none
whereupon said resolution was declared duly passed and
adopted.
The followin members were present: Mayor Dietz_ Councilmembers Christianson,
Westgaard, -Beyer, and Wagner
and the following absent:
Passed and adopted this 4' day of January 2021.
