DISCUSSION:
Installed 10 new residential services, which involves the connection of a secondary line
once the customer requests service.
Finished tearingdown the overhead line and removing poles for the Edison Street
rebuild.
Energized three new underground feeders that were installed for the field services
facility expansion project and removed a portion of the overhead line inside the plant
yard. Some work will continue indoors this winter and one more feeder will be installed
beginning in the spring.
Finished installing underground line for the Trout Ridge Run Addition.
Installed a new three phase service for a customer located on Tyler Street.
Rerouted an existing service at the Freeport Street Water Tower for the new Verizon
Wireless building that will be constructed at the site. The new service will be connected
later this winter.
Tightened hardware and made repairs as needed on Feeder 61 after the high winds
th
during the December 23 snowstorm. This line runs through the gravel pits along 213
th
Avenue, Proctor Road, and 205 Avenue NW.
Replaced two streetlights that were struck by vehicles during the December 23
snowstorm, one at Meadowvale Road and County Road 35, the other on southbound
Highway 169.

Installed a three phase basement and single phase temporaryservice at the new 100-
unit apartment building on Quaday Avenue in Otsego. The three phase service will be
connected in the spring of 2021.
Relocated a three phase transformer and service in a gravel pit on the northern part of
town so they can mine a new area.
The lineworker position posting closed on January 1, 2021. Staff is in the process of
reviewing the applications and anticipates conducting interviews towards the end of the
month.
