Background/Discussion
At the January 4, 2021, Regular Council Meeting, the Council set February 22, 2021, for a Special Joint Meeting
with the EDA and HRA to discuss downtown redevelopment, specifically Modern Construction’s Ecology
project.
Modern Construction has since withdrawn their project.
Staff believes it is important to continue the conversation regarding downtown redevelopment with the Council,
Authorities, downtown businesses/property owners and the community at large. This discussion is an
opportunity to provide direction and expectations for the February meeting.
