1. Approve by motion,the appointment of Denny Chuba to fill the HRA Vacancy on the Joint Finance
Committee.
2. Consider any new committees and committee assignments of commissioners.
Background/Discussion
HRA Bylaws call for the creation of any new committees during the annual meeting, assign representative
commissioners and determine assignments.
Currently, the HRA hosts one special committee,the Joint Finance Committee. The Committee provides
the HRA with a technical and politically neutral analysis of applications including microloan,tax
abatement,and tax increment financing applications. They meet on the last Tuesday of the month.
The Joint Finance Committee consists of nine (9) members: two (2) EDA members,two (2) HRA
members, and at large members representing various constituencies,including banking,real estate,law,
and the general community.
