Direct, by motion, staff to coordinate a purchase agreement for the sale of Pinewood Golf Course.
Direct, by motion, staff to provide notice to Elk River Golf Course of intent to terminate service agreement.
Background/Discussion
The city has been made aware of a party interested in purchasing Pinewood Golf Course with the intention to
continue to operate as a golf course.
Staff was given direction regarding a purchase price to negotiate and has come to a tentative agreement. The city
legal counsel is drafting a purchase agreement pending Council direction to sell the course.
The city does have an agreement with the Elk River Golf Club for course operations which requires a 120-day
notice to terminate.
