A RESOLUTION ACCEPTING BID AND AUTHORIZING CONTRACT FOR WATER TOWER CONSTRUCTION
WHEREAS, pursuant to an advertisement for bids for construction of a water tower,
bids were received, opened, and tabulated by the City Clerk and City
Engineer, on June 24, 1985, said bids were as follows:

1,000,000 gallon hydro pillar
750,000 gallon hydropillar
1,000,000 gallon hydropillar

Hydrostorage, Inc.
WHEREAS, it appears that Hydrostorage, Inc. of Des Moines, Iowa is the lowest re-
sponsible bidder for a 1,000tOOO gallon water tower.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Elk River:
1. The Mayor and City Administrator are hereby authorized and directed into
a contract in the amount of $537,245.00 with Hydrostorage, Inc. of
Des Moines, Iowa in the name of the City of Elk River for construction
of a 1,000,000 hydropillar water tower according to the plans and specifi-
cations therefore approved by the City Council and on file in the office
of the City Clerk.

2. The City Clerk is hereby directed to retain the bid bond deposits made
with the bids for the successful bidder and the next lowest bidder until
contract has been signed.
