RESOLUTION NO. 85-27
Ci ty of Elk River

STATE OF MINNESOTA
ORDINANCE AMENDMENT AUTHORIZING A CHANGE IN MONTHLY RATES
FOR REMOTE CONTROL SERVICES, CABLE COMMUNICATIONS
MiEREAS, the City of Elk River (hereinafter
"City"), pursuant to Ordinance No. 84-9 , has granted
a cable communications franchise ordinance to Rite Cable
Company of Minnesota, Ltd.;
WHEREAS, on September 14, 1984, City was issued a
Regular Certificate of Confirmation by the Minnesota Cable
Communications Board relative to the Rite Cable Franchise;
WHEREAS, City is an existing member of the Sherburne/
Wright County Cable Communications Commission authorized by
Minnesota Statutes Section 471.59, as amended; and
WHEREAS, Rite Cable has informed City of an-,increase
in the month rate for remote control services;
THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, that the City Council of
the City of Elk River , hereby amends Exhibit A of
Ordinance No. 84-9 to change the monthly rates for
remote control services from $2.50 to $5.95.
The above listed resolution was moved by Council

Member Schuldt
