RESOLUTION 85-33
RESOLUTION ACCEPTING BID AND APPROVING CONTRACT FORM FOR RIDGEWOOD
ADDITIONS ONE, TWO, AND THREE BITUMINOUS OVERLAY STREET
PROJECT NO. 1985-1
WHEREAS, pursuant to an advertisement for bids for Improvement Project No.
1985-1, bids were received, opened, and tabulated by the City
Clerk and City Engineer, on the fifth day of August, 1985. Said
bids were as follows:

Buffalo Bituminous, Inc. $ 54,748.50
Elk River Bituminous, Inc. $ 55,685.00
H & S Asphalt Company $ 56,980.00
Hardrives, Inc. $ 62,637.00
Preferred Paving $ 63,311.50
Master Asphalt $ 64,100.50
WHEREAS, it appears that Buffalo Bituminous, Inc. of Buffalo, Minnesota, is
the lowest responsible bidder.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Elk River,
Minnesota:
1. The Mayor and City Administrator are hereby authorized and directed
to enter into the attached contract with Buffalo Bituminous, Inc.,
of Buffalo, Minnesota in the name of the City of Elk River, for
Improvement Project No. 1985-1 according to the plans and specifi-
cations therefor approved by the City Council and on file in the
office of the City Clerk.
2. The City Clerk is hereby authorized and directed to return forthwith
to all bidders the deposits made with their bids, except that the
deposit of the successful bidder and the next lowest bidder shall
be retained until a contract has been signed.
Passed and adopted by the Elk River City Council on the fifth day
of August, 1985.
