RESOLUTION 85-35
RESOLUTION RECEIVING FEASIBILITY STUDY AND CALLING FOR PUBLIC
HEARING ON SANITARY SEWER IMPROVEMENTS ON SCHOOL STREET
(PROJECT 1985-2)
WHEREAS, pursuant to Resolution 85-34 a feasibility study was prepared by
Mr. Terry Maurer, the City's Consulting Engineer, with reference to
the improvement of sanitary sewer service to the properties on the
South side of School Street between Jackson Avenue and Proctor Avenue,
and this report was received by the City Council on August 5, 1985.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Elk River,
Minnesota:
1. The Council will consider the improvement in accordance with
the report and the assessment of benefitted properties as
detailed in the report for all or a portion of the cost of
the improvement pursuant to Minnesota Statutes, Chapter 429 at
an estimated total cost of the improvement of $71,600.
2. A public hearing shall be held on the proposed improvements on
the 26th day of August, ) 1985, in the Community Room of the
Elk River Public Library at 8:00 p.m. local time and the City
Clerk shall give mailed and published notice of such hearing
and improvement as required by law.
Passed and adopted by the Elk River City Council on this Fifth
day of August, 1985.
