RESOLUTION 85-36
RESOLUTION DECLARING COST TO BE ASSESSED AND ORDERING PREPARATION OF
PROPOSED ASSESSMENT FOR SANITARY SEWER IMPROVEMENTS ON SCHOOL STREET
(IMPROVEMENT PROJECT NO.1985-2)
WHEREAS, the tabulated construction costs for improvement project No. 1985-2 are:
Construction Costs $ 57 ,000
Administration, Engineering, Legal & Bonding $ 14,600
so that the total cost of the improvement will be $ 71 ,600
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Elk River,
Minnesota:
1. The portion of cost of such improvement to be paid by the
City is hereby declared to be 0 dollars , and the portion
of the dost to be assessed against benefitted property
owners is declared to be $71,600
2. The City Clerk, with the assistance of the City's Consulting
Engineer, shall forthwith calculate the proper amount to be
specially assessed for such improvement against every assessable
lot, piece, or parcel of land within the district affected,
without regard to cash valuation, as provided by law, and shall
file a copy of such proposed assessments in his office for public
inspec tion.
3. The City Clerk shall upon completion of such proposed assessment,
notify the Council thereof.
Passed and adopted by the Elk River City Council on this Fifth
day of August, 1985.
