RESOLUTION 85-37>
RESOLUTION FOR HEARING ON PROPOSED ASSESSMENT OF SANITARY
SEWER IMPROVEMENT PROJECT ON SCHOOL STREET
(IMPROVEMENT PROJECT NO. 1985-2)
WHEREAS, by Resolution No. 85- 36 passed by the City Council on the 5th day
of August , 1985, the City Clerk was directed to prepare a proposed
assessment of the cost of improving sanitary sewer service to the pro-
perties on the South side of School Street between Jackson Avenue and
Proctor Avenue, and;
WHEREAS, the City Clerk has notified the City Council that such proposed
assessment has been completed and filed in his office for public
inspec tion.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Elk River,
Minnesota:
1. A hearing shall be held on the 26th day of August , 1985, in
the COIIlIIlUnity Room of the Elk River Public Library at 8:00 p.m.
to pass upon proposed assessment, and at such time and place all
persons owning property and affected by such improvements will be
given an opportunity to be heard with reference to such assessments.
2. The City Clerk is directed to cause a notice of the hearing on the
proposed assessments to be published once in the official newspaper
at least two weeks prior to the hearing, and he shall state in the
notice the total cost of the improvements.
3. The City Clerk shall cause mailed notice to be given to the owner
of each parcel described in the assessment roll not less than two
weeks prior to the hearing.
Passed and adopted by the Elk River City Council on this Fifth day
of August, 1985.
