RESOLUTION 85-44
RESOLUTION FOR HEARING ON PROPOSED ASSESSMENT OF
SANITARY SEWER IMPROVEMENT PROJECT ON
SCHOOL STREET (IMPROVEMENT PROJECT NO. 1985-2)
WHEREAS, by Resolution 85-36 passed by the City Council on August 5,
1985, the City Clerk was directed to prepare a proposed
assessment of the cost of improving sanitary sewer service
to the properties on the south side of School Street between
Jackson Avenue and Proctor Avenue, and;

NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of Elk River,
Minnesota:
1. A hearing shall be held on the 23rd day of September,
1985 in the Community Room of the Elk River Public
Library at 8:15 p.m. to pass upon proposed assessment,
and at such time and place all persons owning property
and affected by such improvements will be given an
opportuni ty to be heard wi th reference to such
assessments.
2. The ci ty Clerk is directed to cause a notice of the
hearing on the proposed assessments to be published
once in the! official newspaper at least two weeks prior
to the hearing, and he shall state in the notice the
total cost of the improvements.
3. The City Clerk shall cause mailed notice to be given to
the owner of each parcel described in the assessment
roll not less than two weeks prior to the hearing.
Passed and adopted by the Elk River City Council on this third day of
September, 1985.
