RESOLUTION 85- 45
RESOLUTION ACCEPTING WORK PERFORMED UNDER EAST MAIN STREET
IMPROVEMENT PROJECT AND AUTHORIZING PAYMENT
WHEREAS, Pursuant to written contract signed with the City of Elk River, Minnesota,
Northda1e Construction has satisfactorily completed the East Main Street
Improvement Project.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Elk River, Minnesota,
that:
1. The work completed under said contract, change orders: land supplemental
agreements is accepted and approved.

$338,442.20
$ 12,678.75
$ 7,020.00

$358,140.95
2. The value of the work performed is less than the original contract and
subsequent change orders by $16,310.95 due to an underun of 4.5% to
the amended contract.
3. It is hereby directed that final payment in the amount of $17,490.50
shall be paid to the contractor upon receipt of the following:
1. Affidavit of withheld taxes.
2. Certification of claims paid.
3. Evidence of a one year maintenance bond.
Passed and adopted by the Elk River City Council on the 3rd day of September 1985.
