RESOLUTION 85-48
RESOLUTION RECEIVING FEASIBILITY STUDY AND CALLING FOR
PUBLIC HEARING ON SANITARY SEWER AND WATER MAIN IMPROVEMENTS
ON SIMONET DRIVE, 6TH STREET AND XENIA AVENUE.
(IMPROVEMENT PROJECT 1985-3)
WHEREAS,
pursuant, to Resolution 85-41 a feasibility study was prepared by
Mr. Terry Maurer, the City's Consulting Engineer, with reference
to the improvement of sanitary sewer and water main service to
the properties on Simonet Drive, 6th Street and Xenia Avenue, and
this report was received by the City Council on September 23, 1985.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of Elk River, Minnesota:
1. The Council will consider the improvements in accordance with
the report and the assessment of benefitted properties as de-
tailed in the report for all or a portion of the cost of the
improvement pursuant to Minnesota Statutes, Chapter 429 at an
estimated total cost of the improvement of $249,400.
2. A public hearing shall be held on the proposed improvements on
the 21st day of October, 1985, in the Community Room of the
Elk River Public Library at 8:00 p.m. local time and the City
Clerk shall give mailed notice and published notice of such
hearing and improvement as required by law.
Passed and adopted by the Elk River City Council on this twenty-third day of
September , 1985.
