DISCUSSION:
• IT/OT Technician continues to work on assisting staff working from home, yearly
upgrades of ERMU network equipment and servers, as well as collaborating with city
staff on network upgrades. After City of Elk River IT completes their network and server
upgrades, the IT/OT Technician and National Information Solutions Cooperative (NISC)
will work on upgrades to our NISC servers.
• The United States Army Corps of Engineers approved the modifications for the finalized
wetland impacts. Staff will work with the City on the wetland credit transfer.
• The transformer for the power plant enters the final stages of manufacturing during the
week of February 8, with testing to follow. The factory expects to ship the unit this
month and will provide a firm date after tanking the unit.
• Progress continues with the Field Services Facility Expansion project, staff is working
with Kodet Architectural Group, Ltd. and RJM Construction to finalize construction and
bidding documents.
