RESOLUTION 85-53
RESOLUTION DECLARING COST TO BE ASSESSED AND ORDERING
PREPARATION OF PROPOSED ASSESSMENT FOR BITUMINOUS
OVERLAY STREET IMPROVEMENT PROJECT ON RIDGEWOOD
SUBDIVISION ADDITIONS 1,2,&3
(IMPROVEMENT PROJECT 1985-1)
WHEREAS, the tabulated construction costs for improvement project
1985-1 are:
Construction Cost: $54,000
Administration, Engineering, Legal and Bonding: $11,000
so that the total cost of the improvement will be:
$65,000.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of
Elk River, Minnesota:
1. The portion of the cost of such improvement to be
paid by the Ci ty is hereby declared to be $3,000.
The portion of the cost of such improvement to be
assessed against benefitted property owners is
declared to be $62,000.
2. The Ci ty Clerk, with the assistance of the City's
Consul ting Engineer, shall forthwi th calculate the
proper amount to be specially assessed for such
improvement against every assessable lot, piece, or
parcel of land within the district affected, without
regard to cash valuation, as provided by law, and
shall file a copy of such proposed assessments in
his office for public inspection. The City Clerk,
shall, upon completion of such proposed assessment,
notify the Council thereof.
Passed and adopted by the Elk River City Council on this seventh
day of October, 1985.
