Background/Discussion
At the February 25, 2021, HRA special meeting, the Authority discussed their vision for the Main and Gates
redevelopment area.
The consensus the Authority is open to redevelopment that includes a two-story building with professional
services, medical/veterinary clinic, or efficiency type housing on the top level. Commissioners also discussed
access to Gates and/or 3rd Avenue but did not support access to Main Street. Staff received direction to schedule
a Developer's Forum to gather information,which will be utilized to create a request for proposals and
promotional materials.

The goal of the HRA is to improve existing housing stock by offering incentives or programs to repair and
maintain residential properties.
