A RESOLUTION RECEIVING FEASIBILITY STUDY AND CALLING FOR
PUBLIC HEARING ON STREET AND UTILITY IMPROVEMENT PROJECT
ON MAIN STREET AND ORONO ROAD
(IMPROVEMENT PROJECT 1985-5)
WHEREAS, pursuant to Resolution 1985- 57, a feasibility study was prepared by Mr.
Terry Maurer, the City's Consulting Engineer, with reference to an
improvement of streets and utilities on Main Street and Orono Road
commencing at the intersection of Main Street and US Highway 10 on
the west end commencing eastward along Main Street and Orono Road
to the intersection of Orono Road and US Highway 10 on the west,
and this report was received by the City Council on October 21, 1985.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Elk River, Minnesota:
1. The Council will consider the improvements in accordance with the
report and the assessment of benefitted properties as detailed in
the report for all or a portion of the cost of the improvement pur-
suant to Minnesota Statutes, Chapter 429 at an estimated total cost
of the improvement of $909,200.

2. A public hearing shall be held on the proposed improvement on the
18th day of November , 1985 in the Community Room of the Elk River
Public Library at 8: 00 p. m. local time and the City Clerk shall
give mailed notice and published notice of such hearing and improve-
ment as required by law.
Passed and adopted by the Elk River City Council on this twenty-first day of October,
1985.
