RESOLUTION 85- 59
A RESOLUTION RECEIVING FEASIBILITY STUDY AND CALLING FOR
PUBLIC HEARING ON SANITARY SEWER AND WATER MAIN
IMPROVEMENTS IN THE WESTWOOD SUBDIVISION,
LUNDGREN HOMES FIRST ADDITION AND
ISLAND VIEW THIRD ADDITION (IMPROVEMENT PROJECT 1985-4)
WHEREAS, pursuant to Resolution 1985-49, a feasibility study was prepared by Mr.
Terry Maurer, the City's Consulting Engineer, with reference to an improve-
ment of sanitary sewer service, water main service, and storm sewer service,
to the properties in the Westwood Subdivision, Lundgren Homes First Addition,
and Island View Third Addition, and this report was received by the City
Council on October 21, 1985.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Elk River, Minnesota:
1. The Council will consider the improvements in accordance with the
report and the assessment of benefitted properties as detailed in
the report for all or a portion of the cost of the improvement pur-
suant to Minnesota Statutes, Chapter 429 at an estimated total cost
of the improvement of $664,900.

2. A public hearing shall be held on the proposed improvement on the
day of , 1985 in the Community Room of the Elk
River Public Library at p.m. local time, and the City Clerk
shall give mailed notice and published notice of such hearing and
improvement as required by law.
Passed and adopted by the Elk River City Council on this twenty-first day of October,
1985.
