RESOLUTION NO. 85-&8
RESOLUTION ACCEPTING WORK PERFORMED UNDER RIDGEWOOD
OVERLAY IMPROVEMENT PROJECT 1985-1 AND AUTHORIZING
PAYMENT
WHEREAS, pursuant to written contract sisned with the City of
Elk River, Minnesota, Buffalo Bituminous, Inc. has
satisfactorily completed the Ridsewood Overlay
Improvement Project 1985-1, and;
WHEREAS, the City's Consultins Ensineer, Maier Stewart and
Associates, Incorporated has found that the work
performed under the contract is in compliance with the
contract documents, technical specifications and
construction plans.
NOW, THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED, by the City Council of the City of
Elk River, Minnesota, that:
1. The work completed under said contract is accepted
and aF"F"r"oved.
ORIGINAL CONTRACT AWARD: $54,748.75
FINAL CONSTRUCTION COST: $53, 583.50
2. The value of the work performed is less than the
orisinal contract by $1,165.25 which is
approximately 2% under the orisinal contract
amount.
3. It is hereby directed that final payment in the
amount of $5,107.44 shall be paid to the contractor
upon receipt of the followins:
1. Minnesota Department of Revenue form IC-134.
2. Consent of surety company to final payment.
