DISCUSSION:
IT/OTTechnician is working with the City of Elk River’s IT staff to plan for main
networking equipment replacements. Staff is also replacing ERMU network equipment
that is scheduled for replacement due to ageand working with National Information
Solutions Cooperative (NISC)for upgrades to our NISC servers.
Staffmet with the sales representative and the manufacturerfor the power plant
transformer in February after we were notified of an additional delay. WEG Industries
explained that there have been significant delays due to COVID-19, and since that
meeting have been providing multiple updates each week to keep us informed of the
status. The transformer is completing final tests at the factory during the week of March
1 and expected to arrive during the week of March 22.
Updates on the Field Services Facility Expansion project will have its own agenda item
for the remainder of the project.
