Consider Meeting Minutes – Oct 29, 2020:
Moved by Commissioner Tricia Downey, seconded by Commissioner Jacob Peterson to approve; motion
carried.
Open Forum:

Presentations:
Consultant Chris Potenza from Front Burner Sports & Entertainment presented the current status of the
facility naming rights, including specific areas within the facility.
Discussion Items:
Superintendent Tim Dalton advised the commission to establish an annual meeting schedule.
Superintendent Tim Dalton presented each commission member with an initial draft of Reservation
Procedures for the reviewal and future discussion.
Action Items:
Moved by Commissioner Jim Hecker and seconded by Comm’r Jacob Peterson to approve: The
Annual Meeting Schedule as ‘convening on the first Thursday of each month.’
Motion carried 7-0.
Multipurpose Facility Superintendent Update:
Superintendent Tim Dalton presented updates on interior design companies and proposals, MDH COVID
procedures, and information on some of the first ice events.
Announcements:
Commissioner Dave Williams discussed the commission’s need for bylaws, and reminders for those
members that are re-applying to the commission to get their applications in.
