Background/Discussion
The EDA received a Central Minnesota Arts Board (CMAB) Project Grant for$4,125. It was noted that
the city would be able to submit a second round of grant funds,but as the project was already covered in
the first round of funding,the city is not able to submit a second application to CMAB.
The Public Art Subcommittee met on March 8 to discuss potential funding sources to cover the other
$5,000. The group discussed various organizations to reach out to and directed staff to draft a letter on
their behalf,which will be sent to local organizations.
