I. Call Meeting to Order
Pursuant to due call and notice thereof, the meeting of the Elk River Economic
Development Authority was called to order at 5:30 p.m. by President Tveite.

3. Consider Agen
Moved by Commissioner Westgaard and seconded by Commissioner
Christianson to approve the agenda.
Motion carried 6-0.
4. Consider Consent Agenda
Moved by Commissioner Beyer and seconded by Commissioner Blesener to
approve the following consent agenda:
4.1 January 19, 2021, Minutes.
4.2 Check register as outlined in the staff report.
4.3 Balance sheet as outlined in the staff report.
4.4 Revenue/expenditure report as outlined in the staff report.
Motion carried 6-0.

6. Public Hearings
There were no public hearing items.
7.1 Sportech, LLC,job Creation Grant
Ms. Eddy presented the staff report.
Moved by Commissioner Wagner and seconded by Commissioner Beyer to
recommend the City Council adopt a resolution regarding the support of job
creation fund application in connection with Sportech, LLC.
Motion carried 7-0. 1\
7.2 Sportech, LLC, Tax Abatement Application
Ms. Eddy presented the staff report.
Mikaela Hout,Director,Baker Tilly Municipal Advisors, reviewed the application
request and discussed the financial analysis used based on Authority policy and law
as outlined in her report.
Moved by Commissioner Blesener and seconded by Commissioner Hartwig
to recommend the City Council provide tax abatement assistance to Sportech,
LLC.
Motion carned 7-0.
8. Adjournmen
There being no further business, President Tveite adjourned the meeting of the Elk
River Economic Development Authority at 5:47 p.m.
