RESOLUITON AUTIIORIZING EXPENDITURES IN TIlE 1986 LIBRARY BUDGET
UNDER LlliE ITEM 3401 lYfAINTENANCE AND REPAIR BUILDINGS (CONI'RACTURAL)
WHEREAS, The City Council, of the City of Elk River, reviewed the 1986
Public Library budget at their January 13, 1986 City Council
Meeting, and;
WHEREAS, The City Council approved the proposed Library budget with the
exclusion of the dollar anount of $5,712.00 in line item 3401
(maintenance and repair building contractural) requested for a
service/maintenance contract for the Library's heating and
cooling system, and;
WHEREAS, The City Council requested additional quotes for the service/
maintenance contract be obtained, and;
WHEREAS, The City Council approved the budget requests of $1100.00 and
$300.00 for line item 3401 to provide for the replacement of
furnace controls and contingency problems and;
WHEREAS, The Library Board has requested that expenditures under line
item 3401 be authorized with the exclusion of the expenditure
for the service/maintenance contract.
NOW, 'lliEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Elk River,
Minnesota, that expenditures under line item 3401 in the 1986
Library Budget, with the exclusion of the service/maintenance
contract, are hereby authorized by the City of Elk River.
Passed and adopted by the City Council of the City of Elk River this 21 s t
day of January, 1986.
