RESOLUTION 86-~3
RESOLUTION ACCEPTING QUOTATIONS AND AUTHORIZING
PURCHASE OF PICK-UP TRUCK FOR SEWER DEPARTMENT
WHEREAS, Minnesota Law provides that purchases for goods of
$15,000 or less may be purchased by receiving informal
quotations, and;
WHEREAS, the City of Elk River has received the following
quotations for the purchase of a pick-up truck for the
City's Sewer Department:
BIDDER
QUOTATION
$8,542.53
Elk River Ford Mercury
Saxon's Cloverleaf Motors, Inc.
(Chevrolet Truck)
$8,968.00
and
WHEREAS, the quotation received from Elk River Ford Mercury is
the lowest quotation received, and;
the City Council of the City of Elk River has
determined that it is in the best interest of the City
of Elk River to accept the quotation from Elk River
Ford Mercury for the purchase of a 1986 Ford F-150 pick-
up truck in the amount of $8,542.53.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of
Elk River that the quotation of Elk River Ford Mercury
in the amount of $8,542.53 is hereby accepted.
WHEREAS,
Passed and adopted by the Elk River City Council this 3rd day of
March, 1986.
