RESOLUTION DECLARING ADEQUACY OF PETITION AND ORDERING
PREPARATION OF FEASIBILITY STUDY ON SANITARY SEWER. STORM
SEWER. WATER MAIN. STREET AND CURB AND GUTTER IMPROVEMENT PROJECT IN
DEERFIELD THIRD SUBDIVISION (IMPROVEMENT PROJECT 1986-2)

IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Elk River. Minnesota. that:
1. A certain petition requesting the improvement of the property
contained in the Deerfie1d Third Subdivision, described as:
The East half of the Southeast Quarter of Section 27 and the
Northwest quarter of the Southwest quarter of Section 26 and the
North 396.00 feet of the West 660.00 feet of the Northeast
quarter of the Northeast quarter of Section 34 and that part of
the Northwest quarter of the Northeast quarter of said Section
34 lying East of U.S. Highway No. 169 and lying north of the
South 533.32 feet thereof all in Township 33, Range 26,
Sherburne County, Minnesota.

including access street to Highway 169 at Jackson
and curb and gutter improvements, filed with the City
on March 17,1986 is hereby declared to be signed by the
percentage of owners of property affected thereby.
This declaration is made in conformity with two Minnesota
Statutes, Section 429.035.
2. The petition is hereby referred to Mr. Terry Maurer. the City
Engineer, and he is instructed to report to the Council with all
convenient speed advising the Council in a preliminary way as to
whether the proposed improvement is feasible and as to whether
it should best be made as proposed or in connection with some
other improvement, and the estimated cost of the improvement as
recommended.
Passed and adopted by the Elk River City Council on this Seventeenth day of
March. 1986.
