CITY OF ELK RIVER
A RESOLUTION CANVASSING THE SEPTEMBER 9, 1986 MUNICIPAL
ELECTION RESULTS
WHEREAS, the City of Elk River conducted a municipal election on
September 9, 1986 for the position of Mayor and Council
Member for Ward 1; and,
WHEREAS, the two candidates receiving the highest number of
votes for the position of Mayor and position of Council
Member for Ward 1 will be placed on the ballot for the
general election to be held on November 4, 1986.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of
Elk River that the September 9, 1986 municipal primary
election results be canvassed as follows:
Position of Mayor
Estelle Gunkel - 536 Votes
Lar ry Toth - 452 Votes
Lance Lindberg - 181 Votes
Position of Council Member for Ward 1
Harold Dobel -
Ted Cornelius -
Shelden Vie -
James LaDuke -
III votes

85 votes
28 votes
Adopted this 11th day of September, 1986 by the City Council of
the City of Elk River.
