A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY OF ELK RIVER

A RESOLUTION APPOINTING ELECTION JUDGES FOR THE CITY
GENERAL ELECTION TO BE HELD NOVEMBER 4, 1~86
WHEREAS,
There will be a City general election for the position of Mayor, Council
Member, Ward 1, and Council Member, Ward 4, to be held November 4, 1986;
and,
WHEREAS,
Pursuant to Minnesota Statutes 204B.21, the City Council shall appoint
election judges for four (4) wards within the City; and,
WHEREAS,
All election judges appointed by the City Council are qualified to be
trained election judges and will be certified by the County Auditor as
trained election judges.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, by the City Council of the City of Elk River,
Minnesota, that the persons appointed as election judges for the City
general election shall be as follows:

BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the following persons appointed as election Judges
shall serve as Chief Judges at the general City election:
Chris Zerwas (Ward 1)
Minnie Brady (Ward 2)
Harriet Siegler (Ward 3)
Marge Kampa (Ward 4)
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that said election judges shall be paid at the rate of
$5.00 per hour and said "Chief Judges" shall be paid at the rate of
$5.50 per hour for hours spent in training and hours worked during
the election.
Passed and adopted this 6th day of October, 1986, by the City Council of the
City of Elk River.
