RESOLUTION 86-82
A RESOLUTION AWARDING BIDS AND QUOTATIONS FOR CONSTRUCTION
OF SPECIFIC COMPONENTS OF THE PUBLIC WORKS GARAGE
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Elk River has accepted
the recommendation from the Elk River Citizens's
Building Committee to finance a $250,000 public works
garage through a lease purchase plan; and,
WHEREAS, it has been determined by the City Council that the
public works garage would be bid out in sections for
different components of the building; and,
WHEREAS, sealed bids and quotations were received by the City
staff, opened on October 22, 1986 and evaluated in a
memo from Street Superintendent, Phil Hals, to the
Mayor and City Council dated November 6, 1986.
NOW,
THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of
Elk River that the bid be awarded to the following
lowest bidders contingent upon verification by staff
and consultants that each bid is inclusive and
according to specifications:
Electrical equipment and installation
Plude Electric..................$32,786.96
Ventilation equipment, louvers and associated
ductwork
Merit HVAC, Inc................ $13,006.00
Radiant Heating, Maintenance Area
A & G Plumbing, Inc............ $ 4,775.00
TOTAL ------------------------ $50,567.86
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the bid be awarded to the following
lowest quotations contingent upon verification by staff
and consultants that each quotation is complete and
inclusive and according to specifications.
