RESOLUTION 87- 2
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY OF ELK RIVER
A RESOLUTION REQUESTING BRIDGE REPLACEMENT FUNDING
ASSISTANCE AND AUTHORIZING THE INITIATION OF THE PROCESS
WHEREAS, the Main Street Bridge over the Elk River #3993, is the
responsibility of Elk River, and
WHEREAS, federal and state grant assistance is available for
replacement of the deficient bridge.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council, City of Elk
River, Sherburne County, Minnesota:
1. That financial assistance for the replacement of
bridge #3993, under Minnesota State Transportation
Funds or other available bridge funding programs is
hereby requested, and;
2. Maier Stewart and Associates, Inc., is hereby
authorized and directed to prepare, execute and
submit applications for such assistance and other
documentation as may be required in support of such
applications.
Passed and adopted by the City Council of the City of Elk River,
this 5th day of January, 1987.
