RESOLUTION 87-27
A RESOLUTION RECEIVING THE FEASIBILITY REPORT
AND ORDERING A PUBLIC HEARING ON THE
IMPROVEMENT IN THE MATTER OF THE JACKSON AVENUE
IMPROVEMENT OF 1987
WHEREAS.
the Feasibility Report ordered by the Council in Resolution 87-5 has
been prepared with reference to the improvement of Jackson Avenue
from Trunk Highway 10 to Trunk Highway 169 and was received by the
City on June 15. 1987; and.
WHEREAS.
the Feasibility Report recommends that the proposed improvement is
feasible as proposed;
NOW. THEREFORE. BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Elk River.
Minnesota:
1) The City Council will consider the Jackson Avenue improvement as
described in the Feasibility Report and the assessment of the
property abutting this proposed improvement and the property
described in the attached Exhibit A. incorporated herein by this
reference. for all or a portion of the cost of the improvement
pursuant to Minnesota Statutes. Section 429 at an estimated
total cost for the improvement of $807.900.00.
2) A public hearing shall be held before the City Council on the
proposed improvement on the 3rd day of August. 1987. at 7:00
o'clock p.m. at the Council Chambers in the Elk River Public
Library in the City of Elk River.
3) The City Administrator shall provide ten days mailed notice and
two weeks published notice of the hearing as required by law.
Passed and adopted by the Elk River City Council this 15th day of June. 1987.
