RESOLUTION 87 - 37
In the Matter of the Vacation of future street corridors from official map
designated in document #129894. The above entitled matter came on to be heard
before the City Council of the City of Elk River, Sherburne County, Minnesota,
upon the Petition of K. S. Houlton and upon Motion of the City Council for the
vacating of said future streets, above described; and the City Council having
given due notice of said hearing by published and posted notice as provided by
law and said hearing having been held on the 20th day of July, 1987, at 7:00
o'clock p.m. at Elk River Public Library in said City, and no one appearing in
opposition thereto and the said Council after hearing the evidence presented it
in favor of said Petition finds: That said future streets is not serving any
public purpose and it would be in the best interest of the public to vacate said
future streets.
Councilmember Tralle
introduced the following resolution:
A Resolution vacating future street corridors from official map designated
in document #129894.
Which resolution was seconded by Councilmember
Holmgren
and being put to a
vote was passed by a
5-0
vote in favor of said resolution by the City
Council whereupon said resolution was declared by the Mayor of said City.

ORDINANCE 81 - 27
AN ORDINANCE VACATING DESIGNATED
FUTURE STREET CORRIDORS; REPEALING THE
ORDINANCE ADOPTED DECEMBER 2, 1914
WHEREJS, the City Council of the City of Elk River
deSigjated future streets in a street map ordinance
Decem er 2, 1974; and
WHERE S, the City Council having published notice on
June ?, 1987, held a pUblic hearing on the 20th day of
July, 1987; and
adopted
WHEREAS, the Council finds that the future street
designation in said ordinance no longer serves a public
purpose.
THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ELK RIVER DOES ORDAIN AS
FOLLOWS:
The Ordinance adopted December 2, 1974 designating future
street corridors in sections 33 and 34 of Township 33,
Range 26, in the City of Elk River is repealed.
Passed and adopted by the City Council of the City of Elk
River this 24 day of August, 1987.
