The Current newsletter is one of the April bill inserts. The spring edition covers topics
such as: energy assistance program updates, Severe Weather Awareness Week, ERMUs
communication methods for major outages and water emergencies, Lineworker
Appreciation Day, National Safe Digging Month, hydrant flushing schedule, and 2020
electric and water statistics. A promotional flyer on the AC Tune-Up Program and Water
Conservation Rebates will also go out with the April bills. Attached are copies of the bill
inserts.
Typically, when we publish our quarterly newsletter, we intentionally focus our social
media posts that month around topics that were covered in the newsletter. In addition
to the newsletter topics, other posts you may see in March and April include: Fix a Leak
Week featuring helpful tips on how to fix the most common household water leaks,
Residential Clean Energy Choice program, a video featuring energy innovator Edith
Clarke, and announcements including the Water Fluoridation Quality Award and Safety
Award of Excellence that ERMU recently received.
This months featured social media post: Exciting News for the ERMU Team! In our
continuing efforts to connect with our customers, we believe its important to put a face
with the name of the team members serving the community. Equally important is
recognizing our team members successes and welcoming new members to the team. As
we are limited to the amount of people at our commission meeting due to social
distancing guidelines, commission members may not have had the opportunity to
recognize the employees featured in this post, so we encourage you to do so through
Facebook and join us in congratulating Tom, Chris, and Scott on their promotions to new
positions, and welcoming Jon and Blaine to their new roles. A link to the post is provided
below.

energy efficient HVAC equipment are more stringent, separating the HVAC rebates from
