Provide staff with direction regarding amendments to city ordinances as they relate to turf establishment and
maintenance standards.
Background/Discussion
On April 5, 2021, the HRA reviewed bids for landscape work at the Main and Gates project site. The group had
concerns with the price of the bids and discussed the city's expectations for turf establishment and maintenance
on development sites that are awaiting a project. The HRA asked that the City Council discuss this during a future
work session. Staff will present information on city ordinances and polices and discuss potential amendments to
the ordinance as the Council directs.
