Elk River Meats has been a staple in downtown Elk River for 50 years. Tonight, staff and the HRA would like
to recognize and thank Bob and Denise Robeck for their 50 years of business and support of the Elk River
community.

Designating May 3, 2021 as
Elk River Meats Day
WHEREAS, the Housing and Redevelopment Authority would like to recognize Bob and Denise
Robeck, owners of Elk River Meats, for 50 years of making Elk River "Happy"with all of their
products,but especially Happy Sticks!; and
WHEREAS, the Housing and Redevelopment Authority thank Elk River Meats for 50 years of
supporting the Elk River community; and
WHEREAS, the Housing and Redevelopment Authority wishes Bob and Denise all the best in
their retirement years.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, that I,Larry Toth, Chair of the Housing and
Redevelopment Authority of Elk River, do hereby proclaim May 3,2021, as Elk River Meats Day.
