Resignation of Officer Jason Andersen
Officer Jason .t\.nderson has submitted his resignation effective -L~ugust 14, 2005. Jason has
accepted a lateral entry position with the :NIinneapolis Police Department as a patrol officer.
I extend my appreciation to Jason for his service to our community, and \vish him \veil in his

I \"vish to inform the Council that I \vill be starting the lUring selection process to identify a
potential candidate for the \racancy created by dlls resignation. I anticipate dlat it may take
8-10 \veeks to establisl1 a ne\v eligibility roster, complete the selection process, and present a
candidate to the Council for approval for hire.
