Discuss in person meetings and recommend, by motion, Parks and Recreation Commission meetings become
in-person as of June 9, 2021.
Background/Discussion
The Parks and Recreation Commission has been meeting virtually or hybrid since May of 2020. The City
Council decided in May of 2020 that all City Council meetings are in person to promote public input.
With a growing number of staff, Commissioners, and members of the community vaccinated, or have the
opportunity to become vaccinated, the Commission should discuss a timeline of when to begin meeting again
in person.
