Background/Discussion
In 2017, the HRA held a work session to discuss the possibility of conducting a streetscape study for the
Downtown Corridor. At that time, the HRA decided not to pursue the study,however, as discussions on
Downtown Corridor has increased in the last several months. Staff is inquiring if the HRA is interested in
conducting a Streetscape Study for the Downtown Corridor due to increased interest.

The Elk River Housing and Redevelopment Authority (the "HRA") recognizes the need for appropriate
permanent fixtures available for public use to maintain a safe, clean, and accessible downtown area to preserve
the vitality of the business district and prevent the emergence of blighting conditions.
