Action Requested
Adopt, by motion, the resolution authorizing the conveyance of certain property to Elk River Municipal Utilities
(ERMU).
Background/Discussion
Earlier this year, the City Council approved a plat and Conditional Use Permit (CUP) allowing ERMU to expand
their field services building at the corner of Main and Main. During the final title work associated with the plat, it
was noted that the City of Elk River and the Village of Elk River still held some entitlements for the land currently
planned for inclusion in the plat.
After consultation with the city attorney, staff recommends adopting a resolution authorizing conveyance of the
city’s remaining interest to ERMU.
