OA 95 - 8 I I I I I re City Council of the City of Elk River does hereby ordain as follows: I Section 1. The duly adopted Zoning Ordinance of the City of Elk River i~ hereby amended to read as follows: ~. Nonconforming Tunkvards. No junkyard may continue as a nonconforming use for more than ten (10) years after the effective date of this Ordinance, except that a junkyard may continue as a nonconforming use in an Industrial District if, within that period, it is completely enclosed within a building, fence, screen planting, or other device of such height as to screen completely the operations of the junkyard. Plans of such a building or device shall be approved by the Planning Commission and the City Council before it is erected or put into place. :.- i I \ Section 2.
