91-006 ORD e e e ORDINANCE 91-6- AN ORDINANCE AMENDING SECTION 900.22 - SIGN REGULATIONS SUB(4)(C)(iii) SIGNS PERMITTED IN COMMERCIAL C-1 AND C-2 ZONES The City Council of the City of Elk River does ordain as follows: Section 1. That Section 900.22 (4) (c) (iii) of the City of Elk River Code of Ordinances titled, "Signs Permitted in the Commercial C-1 and C-2 zones" be amended to read as follows: iii. C-1 Zones: One (1) on premise freestanding business sign per premise, not to exceed one (1) square foot in sign area for each linear foot of street frontage up to a maximum of sixty-four (64) square feet, is permitted. Such signs may not exceed the lower of the height of the roof line or a maximum of twenty (20) feet. Freestanding signs shall have a minimum setback of ten (10) feet from any public right-of-way measured to any portion of the sign, and a minimum clearance of eight (8) feet over any vehicular use area and any pedestrian use area.
