Background/Discussion
Historically, the City's Economic Development Director has been designated as the EDA Executive
Director.
Brent O'Neil began as the Economic Development Director on June 22, 2021, and as such would fill the
role of the EDA Executive Director.

Mission/Policy/Goal
Per bylaws: The EDA shall appoint an executive director and such other staff as deemed necessary to
carry out the business of the Authority and may determine their duties,qualifications, and compensation.
The executive director shall have the duties and responsibilities delegated by these bylaws and as assigned
by the Authority. The Authority may delegate to its staff, employees, or agents such powers or duties
deemed proper.
