Background/Discussion
The Spirit Week subcommittee met to start planning the August 23-27, 2021, Spirit Week. The week will
focus on supporting our local economy, supporting local businesses and their employees,and an
opportunity to showcase various businesses.
Planning for the "Grow Your Community" job fair is underway. No date has been confirmed yet,but the
hope is to have it later this fall.
Financial Impact
The EDA allocated $10,000 in the 2021 budget to this initiative.
Mission/Policy/Goal
To Elk River is a community initiative to encourage, engage, and support local businesses,non-profits, and
neighbors in need through challenging times.
