September 7 — Budget/Preliminary Levy Review
September 20 — Preliminary Levy Approval
November 1— Budget/Levy Review
November 15 — Budget/Levy Review (if needed)
December 6 — Budget/Levy Approval
American Rescue Plan Act (ARPA) funds utilization
-The city is receiving a total of $2.6 million in federal dollars (half paid in 2021, half paid
in 2022. All funds need to be dispersed by 2024)
-Funds cannot be used to offset a tax reduction or delay a tax increase.
-City Council/County Commission joint meeting on July 21st will include discussion on
funding uses.
