CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ELK RIVER
ORDINANCE NO. 90 - 23
AN ORDINANCE AMENDING SECTION 900.18 OF THE CITY OF
ELK RIVER CODE OF ORDINANCES RELATING TO THE
SCHEDULE OF DIMENSIONAL REGULATIONS FOR LOTS AND
STRUCTURES
The City Council of the City of Elk River hereby amends its
City Code of Ordinances and does ordain as follows:
The Code of Ordinances Chapter IX, Section 900.18, is
revised as it relates to the minimum requirements for lot
areas in residential districts, building setbacks, lot
coverage requirements and building heights in all
districts.
The above description of the Ordinance is a summary. A
complete copy of the Ordinance revisions are available for
review at the office of the City Clerk at the Elk River City
. Hall and at the Elk River Library.
Passed and adopted this 31st day of July, 1990. Effective
upon publication.

SCHEDULE OF DIMENSIONAL REGULATIONS
The City Council of the City of Elk River does ordain as follows:
Section 1. - That Section 900.18 of the City of Elk River Code of
Ordinances titled, "Schedule of Dimensional Regulations" be amended to read
as follows:

(2) Accessory structures used for agricultural purposes or of metal
construction/exteriors shall be set back a minimum of 300 ft. from any
neighboring residence or platted area, unless within a platted area a
Conditional Use Permit for the accessory structure is granted which
specifies different setback distances or conditions, in which case the
Conditional Use requirement shall supersede the requirements of this section.
(3) The keeping of livestock (fences) is prohibited within 200 feet of an
