DISCUSSION:
• We had a few IT equipment failures in the past month, including the city managed
phone system, shared server equipment, and ERMU managed network switches. The
IT/OT Technician and City IT staff have been able to work together and find solutions
quickly with little impact to staff.
• The IT/OT Technician has been assisting with specifying camera equipment and design
for the new field services building.
• I’ve been assisting the Tech Services department with planning for transformer load tap
changer maintenance, metering upgrades, and investigating SCADA upgrades.
