A RESOLUTION FOR THE CITY OF ELK RIVER
A RESOLUTION AMENDING RESOLUTION 96-96 ESTABLISHING
THE ICE ARENA COMMISSION MEETINGS
WHEREAS, the Elk River City Council adopted Resolution 96-96 establishing the Ice Arena
Commission meetings for the first Tuesday of April, 6:00 p.m. at City Hall and the
first Tuesday of August, 6:00 p.m. at City Hall, with additional meetings being held at
the call of the Chair or at the request of two other Commissioners; and
WHEREAS, on August 2,2005, the Ice Arena Commission voted unanimously to change their
regular meeting days from the first Tuesday of April and the first Tuesday of August
to the second Tuesday of April and the second Tuesday of August; and
WHEREAS, Section 2-255 of the Elk River City Code calls for the City Council to establish by
resolution the meeting dates, times, and locations of the Ice Arena Commission
meetings.
NOW, TH EREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Elk River that
the Elk River Ice Arena Commission shall meet on the second Tuesday of April at
6:00 p.m. at City Hall and the second Tuesday of August at 6:00 p.m. at City
Hall, with additional meetings being held at the call of the Chair or at the request of
two other Commissioners.
Passed and adopted by the City of Elk River City Council on this 8th day of August, 2005.
