ORDINANCE 89-15
AN ORDINANCE AMENDING SECTION 206.02
RELATING TO THE APPOINTMENT AND SELECTION
OF MEMBERS AND OFFICERS
The City Council of the City of Elk River does ordain as
follows:
The Code of Ordinances for the City of Elk River, Section
206.02 is amended to read as follows:
Section 206.02. Appointment and Selection of Members and
Officers.
The fire chief shall be appointed by the Council taking
into consideration the recommendation of the Full-Time
Position Selection Committee. Fire fighters shall be
appointed by the members of the department in accordance
with qualifications and other requirements set forth in the
Elk River Fire Department bylaws and this ordinance.
