83-004 ORD ORDINANCE 83-4 AN ORDINANCE AMENDING SECTION 1008.22- IMPROVEMENTS REQUIRED - OF THE CITY'S SUBDIVISION ORDINANCE The City Council of the City of Elk River does ordain as follows: Section 1. That Section 1008.22, Subsection l(C), of the City's Subdivision Ordinance titled, "Improvements Required" be amended to read as follows: C. Paving - The City Council may require that all streets and alleys be improved with a concrete or bituminious surface. Streets to be paved shall be sur- faced for a seven (7) ton axle weight capacity in residential areas and a nine (9) ton axle weight capacity in commercial and industrial areas, unless otherwise required by the City Council. If the City Council determines that streets are not to be paved, such streets shall be surfaced with six (6) inches of stabilized gravel to a surface width of thirty (30) feet, or such other width approved by the City Council. Section 2. That this Ordinance shall take effect and be in full force from and after the date of its publication. Passed and adopted this 18th day of April , 1983.
